1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how PicSlim Studio handles information when you use the app. The app helps you compress, resize, and convert photos directly on your device.
Our first-version design principle is simple: your photos should stay on your device unless you choose to save or share them yourself.
2. Photos and Local Processing
PicSlim Studio processes selected photos locally on your iPhone. We do not upload your original photos or processed photos to our servers, and we do not store your photos on our servers.
Any output image is created on your device. You decide whether to save the processed image to your photo library, share it, or discard it.
3. Photo Library Access
The app requests access to your photo library only when you choose photos for compression, resizing, conversion, or when you save processed images back to your library.
You can change or revoke photo access permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app.
4. Data We Collect
The first version of PicSlim Studio does not require an account and does not collect your name, phone number, contacts, precise location, original photos, or payment card information.
The app may store limited information locally on your device to provide app functionality, including:
- selected compression preset;
- selected output format;
- custom resize settings;
- daily free export count and usage limit state;
- local purchase entitlement status, when applicable.
If you contact us for support, we may receive the email address you use and the information you voluntarily include in your message. We use this information only to respond to your request and improve the app.
5. In-App Purchases
PicSlim Studio may offer optional paid features through Apple’s in-app purchase system, such as PicSlim Pro subscriptions or a lifetime unlock.
Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card information. Purchase status may be used by the app to unlock Pro features and restore eligible purchases.
6. Image Metadata
Photos may contain metadata, such as camera information or other embedded file details. PicSlim Studio processes metadata locally. Depending on the feature and settings you choose, exported images may retain or remove metadata.
Please review your output image before sharing it with others if metadata privacy is important to you.
7. Third-Party Services
The first version of PicSlim Studio does not use advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs.
The app uses Apple platform services for app distribution and in-app purchases. Apple’s handling of information is governed by Apple’s own policies and settings.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
Local app settings remain on your device until you change them, clear app data where available, or delete the app.
Support emails and related communications may be retained only as long as reasonably necessary to handle your request, maintain business records, or comply with applicable requirements.
9. Children’s Privacy
PicSlim Studio is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
